Prince of Peace Catholic Cemetery

Located in a beautiful pastoral setting, Prince of Peace Cemetery gives reverence and respect to those who are buried even as we entrust them into the loving hands of God.

Prince of Peace Cemetery was developed in 2002 and was the result of many years of work.  The first burial in this cemetery occurred in 2003.  It was the hope of the Mansfield Catholic Cemeteries Committee to create a fitting place that will be supportive of the families of those who die, assuring a meditative and restful place for many decades to come.

Robert Donnelly, former Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Toledo, dedicated and consecrated Prince of Peace Cemetery on September 28, 2002.

As you enter the Prince of Peace Cemetery, you will see the beauty of the background trees, the rolling hills, and the powerful wooden cross.

Immediately to your right as you enter the Cemetery are two currently platted sections of the Cemetery.  The first section, Section A, provides for 360 (4′ x 10′) grave spaces.  To the left of this section, Section B, which is the site of the wooden cross, provides for 288 (4′ x 11′) grave spaces.

Future plans for the Cemetery include the addition of a maintenance building, installation of a columbaria for the interment of cremated remains. As the need arises in the future there are several sections to be developed with space for well over 2,000 grave spaces.
